I did the same to mine last summer, I used 3/8 brake line. it was a lot quieter with a very noticeable loss in power, it sucked I took it off.

I just use a paintbrush, the small ones you get in Testors paint kits work best, I usually trim them with sissors in different ways depending what Im painting or effect Im looking for.

I use Testors paint, but does ware off sooner or later depending on where and how your running, but thats ok cuz you can try different colors like Nascar Goodyear yellow or both.

I re designed the front clip on the Ghost, still have to tuch up the paint but it came out better than the first one.

yep, I got wood :) they are made of 1/4" Oak.
the tvp in this pic is a messed up right side LCG plate, Ill be making a new set of Low centers out of Maple over the winter.

I made my driver a cage last night, it came out pretty sturdy, Im thinking of putting one on the rear next for extra head protection.
