Yep.. the serial bus connectivity stuff (XBus and S.Bus) is fantastic. It takes a little thinking to wrap your head around it, but once you do, you'll never want to go back to a 'standard' setup...

JR should make the 28X firmware/programming open source so development can continue. If the letter is true, then they really have nothing to lose by doing so, and can keep this incredible radio alive.

That's the best advice for ANY radio purchase actually. Go find one you're interested in and see how it feels in your hands. I can tell you ad nauseum how much I like my 28X, but it doesn't matter...

This part doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like the radio suddenly doesn't work anymore. If JR was to close (they're not), my 28X will still be a fantastic radio.

JRA just got the first 2 large boxes of servos from Malaysia yesterday. There is more on the way. They're not out of business nor is JR as a whole.
