RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Winning the radio is icing on the cake. I haven't missed WOD in twelve plus years.

We had a great time at WOD and got in several flights with the Skyraider. The Saturday noon show was great with...

RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Larry, are there any updates on the Avenger flight program?
I assume that the rest of you Avenger fliers are having a good summer with your planes.

I have finished my Ziroli twin Beechcraft...

I decided to close down my website "kelloggplans.com". The domain name expired and I needed to renew the domain name to keep it up. I do have parts and plans for both the Avenger and the AD-5...

RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Larry, I did trains. First I had a layout of HO scale trains but I didn't have enough room to expand the layout anymore. I still have a whole box of HO trains and Plasticville houses and Matchbox...

RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

We must all have the same mental defect. I have been looking at building a Connie and the C-119 for a long while. The problem with the Connie is the long wing. To build one that can use gas engines...

RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Larry, The Avenger will fly great at 44 pounds. With all of that wing it won't even notice a few extra pounds. I guess you are looking at the 14th. so you can go to Warbirds over New Jersey on...

The S-2 Tracker is getting closer. I want to finish the L-19 rehab and the D-18 before I start the S-2. The S-2 will be a two year project that I hope to start this winter.

RE: Charlie Kellogg's TBM Avenger Build

Boyd,
Sorry to hear about losing your Corsair. When a older model goes in it is like losing an old friend. I lost my 16 year old Ziroli AT-6 to aileron hinges pulling out this spring and I lost my...

Glad to have you add to the build thread. I think Peter covered the steps needed to set the W-6 ribs. After they are set in place sand the rib profile to match the adjacent ribs.

As...
