kinda, except that kershaw direct drive with the motor mounted forward will do away with the radio box, and it'll have just a servo mount on the side of the TVP to handle the steering....

when I re-convert mine this time I'll be using stock SavageXL chassis plates, and using the Kershaw Designs Direct Drive Center Transmission, as long as it still has a slipper setup....with the mamba...

it'll do it......my XL when I had a 1620kv brushless motor with a 20T pinion and 48T CB was hitting 70's before I had to let out of it for fear of losing control on 6S LiPo.....but, that's WAY too...

On the math side of it, if they're 7"OD tires, 60's attainable much easier, but, like you said, they're heavy and the motor doesn't have that much grunt, especially not a .32, a .21 might have enough...

mechanically.....(i.e. straight RPMs to tire roll out with all gearing calculated) if he had a 3speed with HS 3rd, and 16/46 gearing (robinson racing Sav25 combo), assuming a 6" diameter on those...

sure there is.....the same center shafts are used no matter whether you've got a Savage21/25, SavageX, or LCG chassis plates.....not to mention that U-Joints have less wear potential than what those...

the talon tires aren't what's making it ride that low to the ground...., you've either got shocks that're setup so soft that they aren't holding their length, have shorter shocks, or have a VERY...

no offense intended, but, I think this setup reminded me why I won't use those rims and such....it took me 3 or 4 times to make sure that was a savvy and not a nyco or something like that....I like...
