Just a status note: our restored TBM has been moved from the restoration facility and is now at Hagerstown airport awaiting reassembly of the wings and then flight tests before arriving at Culpeper...

My "Doris Mae" is complete and has joined my other squadron airplanes in the hangar at Culpeper Airport.

One thing wrong with Chic's description of the day...is that the Tuskegee BT-13 trainer is home-based here in Culpeper and is awaiting him to join and also help us maintaining it in flying condition....

I guess I'll join in on the painting status.

Note that my beast will be a static model resting on a pole at the hangar where the full-size TBM will call home.

I have another idea. We are in the final throws of the restoration in PA...but I will probably beat it to the hangar. My suggestion is for you to come down to Culpeper when the real Doris Mae arrives...

Restoration facility is in Fawn Grove, PA, practically on the MD/PA border, north of Baltimore.

How do I transition the sheeting from F-13 to F-14. (F-13 is the stinger gun port)

Any photos would help.

Not sure if the curved sheeting over F-14/15 is...
