Default Canopy dent repair

Hello guys,
My new jet arrived with a dent in the clear canopy, about 3" long, 1" wide and 1/2" deep.

Are there any methods of pulling the clear plastic back to shape?
Thanks.

I guess you have already looked at asking for a replacement?

Try some real gentle heat on it (Hair Dryer) try to manipulate it back again.

Keep in mind the dent has the potential to stretch the canopy material, and a consequence is that the material is reluctant to go back to the original shape, however gentle heat, and a lot of patience will help.

The end of the day there is a lot of experience on here, someone may have a better idea.

Along the same lines as gently heating it, you could also try dipping it in warm/hot water to relax it back into shape.

Some boiling water will do the trick.

Before you do the hot water make sure you have two pair gloves material and the tick 5 mil black rubber on top this will help stay safe ,massage it to the shape DO NOT OVER HEATED IT MIGHT SHRINK THE CANOPY good luck .

You can try also to support on the bench your canopy. Before you can insert on it a simple ballon without air but ready to swell it.Then you will swell it until it takes the inside shape of canopy then you can heat the canopy with care on the point of dent. The ballon will force the heated canopy point to come back to original shape!!You can also must have ready one glass of water to catch a cold immediately and secure the shape.

Not sure how you part is but if the canopy is removable try upside pouring some in or you can dip it. If its thin plastic be careful, the dent should reform easily.
