Not to be picky, but Tony that isn't the right size pilot. The last one I built I went with the same pilot. It's 1/6 scale.. the plane...

I don't like the red robart valve either.. I have used them many times in the past
they leak... are very sinsitive to adjust.. I like just the reg. valve with resritctors

zinger props are just OK ...
try a good quality prop like Xoar, Bolly, Menz, The APC props are good also

So I built the Vanessa cg machine today..
After a trip to Ace hardware it only took about 30 minutes to put together...
It took another 20 minutes to get the hang of it

But I'm sick of these cheap balancers... in the jet fourms they rave that vanessa is the way to go..
it works on any thing.. delta wing jets..low wing .. hing wing

I also use ny rod to install my cowls... works great... I think I read this tip form you some time ago works great
