RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

I have been flying mine now for over six years. Mine was one of the first produced. I have always balanced mine at the recommended CG with a 5-10 degree nose down angle. Nose heavy war birds fly...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Sorry to hear of your delima Mike. Just list everything on RC Universe classifieds and you will get better coverage to all that are looking to buy. I would go with Pay-Pal for all payments. It's not...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

I would say they have enough power for the primary flight controls, but I think you should use 1110-130 in.oz. servos for the flapsif you are using 45-50 degrees of flap movement. This will keep your...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Did the rear webbing wood have vertical grain wood in it? If so that is great news. I still think that you need plywood webbing out past the landing gear bay, and better joints on the ribs to the...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Sir, you really have to love complicated scale aircraft to keep flying them . My love for WWII warbirds and even civilian scale aircraft that use retractable undercarrages are labor intensive. If you...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly Thread

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly Thread

Mike you can use doll house piano hinges or also Jerry Nelson has the small piano hinges that you just cut to length. I along with a lot of others use small rare earth magnets to hold the hatch in...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Michel,

I have both, TF Mustang and the Fiberclassics Mustang. Not to mention a Nosen Mustang. Just remember this. The BIGGER they are the easier they are to fly!

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)
