That looks good Pete. Verysimilar to what I had in mind for my base color scheme. What colors did you use for the green and gray?

The exhaust was originally built for the DL50. It was noted elsewhere that this would work on the DLE with minor grinding to the engine mount. I emailed KELEO verifying it would work on the DLE 55...

I just ordered the Keleo for my DLE 55 on this bird. My plans are to shape the shroud cover from balsa, use it as a plug and layup some fiberglass shrouds. This is the plan anyway.

There appears to be differing opinions on the spinner. From what I read, a lot of people are retapping it and using 4-40 screws with blue loctite and having good success with it.

I'm going with nylon hinges on the tail surfaces. The slits are already there for the CA hinges so it's just a matter of opeing them up a bit. Back to basics with the KISS method.
