I 'am a little confused when you say your triple rate slide switch. the slider on the side of the radio is just a slide lever ther is no triple or dual rate on that lever,

You have to change the way it is mounted , The ARF wing bolts at the back and dowels in the front. . The kit bolts in the front and dowels in the rear.. I know because I have done it.
