anyone have the Keleo exhuast, the new one , with the alum. shroud added to the exhuast??
It looks much better with it added, but it seems it made the cost go up 150 More!....

What does the slimline mufler look like in relation to the jtec?
Did you contact jtec?

If slimline looks just line the jtec, I don't see how they would make it any quieter

The phenix p-51 looks great....

Topflight should have updated wings on there planes to include wing tubes ect...
That is my only complaint....

My TF p-51 is getting the 3-piece wing...

I had a bolt on muffler fail from bisson due to a hyde type mount...
It is the anit vibration mount.
I have a tig welder now and wouldn't have any issues fixing it myself...

Topflite uses Aircraft Quality plywood in theres....How many manufactures do that today??
I believe most use ULTRA=Lite Ply (2-sheets...

How much for electric retro fit?
100$ for the hydraulics....

I will test for leaks with air and soap before the oil goes...

sorry to hear that....
I wasn't all that excited with mine either...
as the exhaust outlet (these side exhuast engines are not good in WWII inline birds)
puts it right against the cowl. MOst...

I have taken all the covering off mine (just assembled, but decided to cover with fiberglass)
so the engine is no longer in the plane....

I am going to "try" to cut out the old one and fit it over the Exhuast...

If I did it over again, I would Never have picked up that exhuast...

TOpFlite has announced the the Giant p-40 warhawk ARF..
Comes Perhinged and all but the rudder.
They have re-inforced the landing gear area...

I have looked into this quite a bit....
Although I could have been a bit more precise in my cut,
I ended up between the rib of the landing gear forthest outboard and the rib next to the landing...

If you go do the Bison site, they have the Exhaust, alum fan, and cowling to provide a
very well hidden engine, that remains very cool, and very powefull....
Keep that engine and get those other...

I have not flown this plane yet, but with all of my previous experience with rc planes in general, If you have a nose heavy plane, you will
run out of ELevator and slam...

I have thought about using some very thin metal tape, but I am not sure as to how much
weight it would add... from the hardware store...
