fyi, the DLUSA muffler is not the JTEC P51 muffler. I also installed my new P51 JTEC muffler and it fits like a glove in the cowl. BUT, you must order the JTEC TFP51 Pitts, not the standard Pitts...

Now you tell me after I hacked up the cowl to get his current JTEC muffler to work. Its going to have to be awfully thin around that exhust port to fit in the cowl.

Just a FYI. I did the wing mod on my new P51 and when I opened it up the sheer webbing was running vertically and was glued real well. I went ahead and did the mod since I removd the sheeting. ...

Header is too wide, the cannister would fit but the header and all the area forward of the header is not even close to fitting in the cowl. This is when its nice to be a elecric guy instead of gas...

I just installed the DL50 with the TBM pitts and bascally had to remove most of the side of the cowl to get it to fit. Thats not the muffler to use. Frankly knowing what I know now I would have...
