RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly Thread

Hey Doomking, congrats on your maiden. I really enjoyed reading your play-by-play of the flight. I'm accumulating everything right now, so this plane will be my winter project. Yes, an ARF is a...

Ed:

Looks really good. Your post is regaining my interest in this motor. Did you get everything from Kangke?

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Hey, thanks for the reply. Just curious, did you use the inverted pitts muffler that ZDZ advertizes on the RC Showcase website or another muffler?

RE: Scale cockpit - Wow

Great picture on the mains !!

That's the same engine combo I was planning to use. Is the ZDZ40 the RE version? Was it a clean install? How's the performance with the 40cc motor? Not looking...

Also, I have a Moki 210 lying around and...

RE: nice picture

Yeah, I checked Towers website and it shows both the US 41 and US 35 as discontinued. I also checked the US Engines website but it didn't say anything. Is US Engines going out of business or did...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly Thread

This is a good idea. I had (past tense) a Byron P-51 and the fuel tank was also mounted in the center of the fuse around the CG location just under the cock-pit. There was a light ply mount cut-out...
