RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Agreed. My Zenoahs hang in my garage all winter. I do not do anything special to them except keep them well tuned and use penzoil oil mixed 40:1. I also use AVGAS for fuel. It's cleaner, more stable,...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Ihave been running a G45 in my P-51 for the last 6 years and it is one of the finest flying warbirds at our field. I swing a 19-10 Xoar prop. I believe this to be the best prop for this motor in a...

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

It is unusual for this to happen after such a short time. I have nearly 500 flights on my P-51 and have only had to replace one set of torque links. Very reliable gear.

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

Use Krylon Bright Silver. You can get it for 3 bucks a can at Wal Mart. This worked really well for my Jug. Just be sure to rub it down with 0000 steel wool. The result is a very convincing metal...

My Zenoah G45 has been soft mounted in my P-51 now for 6 years. I am using the JTEC muffler as well. No issues whatsoever.

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

RE: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)
