Thanks for the info and pics guys. Looks like the measurment can be between 7 and 8 1/8. (says 8 1/8 in the topflight tech notes) I will try to make it more towards 7.5 or so to keep the nose weight...

HMMMMMMMMMMM looks like on the Topflight site under tech notes for this plan it says 8 1/8. Called topflight to confirm and he said yes.

Do you happen to know what the distance shouls be between the firewall and the drive shaft plate for a da50? I can't find it in the instructions(all it talks about is mounting the US 41...

Thanks for your help. I mounted the engine today and it came out good. When I slide the cowl on, the engine shaft is centered. Thanks again. Because I did not have the correct size...

Thanks for the info. So can I just center, (up down and left and right) the back of the carb? Just aligne the back of the carb with right were the 2 lines cross?

Thanks for the info. Do the springs helps keep the tailwheel centered while it's retracted? I would think it could jam if the tailwheel comes out while it is turned. Please let me know.
