Great progress....
i noticed in your wheel wells you have not modified the spar webbing like most of us did with plywood.
the plane notoriously have a tendency of ripping the wheels off the rails...

how is your DLE 55 ra running....any overheating issue? Did you have to make any baffles?
how about the stock muffler, still In one peace or it broke off at the mounts?

Had similar problem at the front with smaller...

Had similar problem at the front with smaller gap.
I added a thin piece of ply to the front of the wing to eliminate the gap. I left a 1/16" gap for little play.

after you apply 30 min epoxy in the pockets and everywhere else, the bond will be so strong that it will brake somewhere else before the joint does.....

just get everything...

Early on I had a hack of a time landing both of them.
Lots of struts bent and wheel well repairs.

If you are using a Robart variable rate air valve you can turn the screw in and slow down the struts when they come down.
Also if that is not sufficient, Robart offers air line restrictors that...

Quick question.
When you glass the elevator and rudder, how do you keep the fabric from sagging since they are not sheeted, while you apply the finishing resin?

Robart Large hinges 3/16 ". The only way to go.
Use Gorilla glue...it works like a charm.
There should be a Video or a thread to how to use Gorilla glue and water for the hinges.

If you are not familiar with giant scale warbirds flying in general and particularly on landing, I would strongly recommend that you find someone in your area that it is familiar with that aircraft...
