I was a bit concerned that these have plastic gears but seem ok.

The throttle cable I used was a sullivan flexible plastic rod that curved around fuel tank.

A present I have a hole in side of cowl and activate choke lever with a screwdriver but is sometimes hard to find lever as I saw...

By doing the wing mod you will save yourself from the landing gear ripping out
I have done mine as per page 51 and after 5 flights with a bounce or two the gear is still solid

The other torque link has a crack starting in the same area but has not broken.I have ordered 2 more and sent a picture to Robart.

I finally received reply from Robart re-cracked and broken torque links on my mustang retracts and was given no possible explanation.
There answer was to send back retracts to them and they will...

I had the same problem with mine when the retract came out too fast and the cylinder parted.
The ring is pressed in from factory so when it popped out it would not stay in

Has anyone had a problem with the torque link assemblies on there robart air retracts splitting where they contact the metal block on the strut?
I brought my retracts from Tower approx 2 years ago...
