There is a set set screw that needs to be removed, guessing you've already removed it. I wouldn't think they are on there that tight. Getting ready to do mine so I'm hoping my puller gets the job...

Since I don't have the second nipple I was going to do the same on the bottom nipple. As long as you pre lube the crank bushing you should be good. Mine has not been ran yet and it sure sounds rough...

So what's the advantage of the bushing mod? More tolerance so you have less o a chance of seizure due to better lubrication and maybe a fewer more rpms?

So if I do the hub swap I should be good to go. Just didn't want the cylinder temps issues. Are you going to use 15 to 1 or 20 to 1?
