Welcome to Club SAITO !

No but I sure would like to have one of those too naturally. Dad's was the Wby 270 mag early serial number. Mine I bought in 84. Also the magnum.
I loaned 1500 dollars to bank of Colorado as a promo (Sort of weird eh) They shipped the gun to me (had an FFL at the time). Then I got the 1500 back with no interest one year later.
My USAAF WW2 dad and I carried them in the Ottawa natl forest and fed our people with them for 17 years till his death. His came to me after my brother died (firstborn was instrumental in dad's early purchase)
I never carried either again or took life with his. Once retired to the safe, I bought a SS Ruger Mark std 270 and started loading for it. Still carry it today up there, or a AR platform 30 cal blackout, loaded supersonic for hunting WT. Put together of all Michigun made parts. AKA the home state special.
The standard 270 is just right for me with them white tailed critters. The Mags are sort of overkill. And heavy cradled in my old right arm. But I digress.
My Saito 325 is giving me fits. And I think I missed a tooth on my twin when I did the bearings. Runs clunky like the valve timing is off. I used the alignment pin tool during the cam re- assemblies. (normally don't) Pressure is on. I just picked up a Goldberg anniversary cub for it's second home. The twin was not addressed as I had wrecked the cub with a 72 I put on it while the FT90 was in repair.
I will be looking to y'all for reference on correct reassembly for it. The right and left cams were sort of murky to my thick skull, and I didn't seek counsel. It may be more than '" just a tooth off"
lol. I remember one of my peers here offering help, and me thinking that was really kind...
Welcome back Pete! Was afraid gravity failed ya down under.
Aaron-
Sorry guys. I couldn't sleep last night.

I spent the day going over the yard with a metal detector!
Dave, check your porch
Making a trip out to PA this week. Might as well grab some methanol too. Current price is $2.70/Gallon.

Very good on the engines! MECOA should have the needles for little Webra, they are beauties!
Could be sweet on a Sig LT-25

Hey Dave. You can ask me anything Sir.
Thanks for asking. Early FT 90. Ran poorly till I got new spray bars. Ran great and the bearings crapped out. Did the bearings and screwed up the timing on the left cam. I did use an alignment pin tool on both cams. Ran like was a tooth off. Put it on the shelf cause I had put a 72 on the cub it was on when it went down. Wrecked the cub. Got another one motor less. Time to have another crack at it...

I have been lusting for the 180. Can't get past UMS manufacturing. Good engines. Sketchy company.
The Moki 180 is twice that number. And they have pulled some stupid stuff in the states to unfortunately.
Check Areoscale. These two arent all there is in this hobby.
A Robart showed up on farcebook yesterday. My heart almost stopped. Had to sit down for a second. Lol

Anyway, what was the issue with the original spraybars?

The early 90 twin was AAC and the MK-2, at least the initial run version I had was a cast in, chrome plated steel sleeve. The box said AAC but it was not.
I have a NIB 90T MKII, how does one identify the early version from the later version? Yours appears to be a 90T MKII (ringed). IIRC the 90T MKI was an ABC engine (non ringed). The last version was the 90TS, but a totally different (boxer) design.

Came to me freely rotating. I fired it up and it ran ok. It had a bent needle/ bar assy. Was was fretting me in the fine tuning. All good after that, till the bearings crapped. Thinking back, I seem to remember I got the empty box also. And I had a factory instruction lit.
Probably the MKll you referenced.
Thanks Aaron-
